Join the nation!
The membership of the Savo-Karelian Nation costs only 5 euros covering as many as 7 years! The degree students of the universities and polytechnics in Turku can apply for a full membership and everybody else for an external membership. After their graduation the nation’s junior members become senior members. But no worries, every type of members are welcome to join all the events and clubs the nation has to offer!
You can join the Savo-Karelian Nation by visiting the nation’s office and filling the membership application form there. If you’re going to apply for a full membership, remember to bring your student card with you.
The Office Hours
The office of the Savo-Karelian Nation is open during the predetermined office hours as well as spontaneously whenever there are nation’s actives around with a key and a need to hang out. Announcements of such events can be checked for instance from SKO’s Instagram.
So come on and stop by at the office for a chat and a cup of coffee. Or for a nap at the couch if that’s your cup of tea. You may stay for a while or two. Sometimes it’s hard to know if it’ll be night or the next morning when you get yourself out of the building.
The office of the Savo-Karelian Nation (called SKOimisto) is located at the street level of the Student House B in address Rehtorinpellonkatu 4-6 B. The sign above the front door “Osakuntasali”. The office hours are:
- Wednesdays at 12.30 and Thursdays at 15.00.
