Kyykkäkauden 2018-19 SKO Open on täällä! Kyykkäturnaus sijoittuu tällä kertaa lauantaille 2.2.2019. Turnauksen sääntöinä käytetään SKOn Kyykkäliigassakin käytettyjä pelisääntöjä. Joukkueen tulee koostua 4-8 pelaajasta, joista vähintään neljän on oltava kentällä kussakin ottelussa. Vajaajäseninen joukkue antaa vastustajalleen luovutusvoiton.
Lisätietoa on ja ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu alla olevalla lomakkeella, missä kysytään joukkueen nimi sekä sen kapteenin ja vähintään kolmen muun pelaajan nimi ja yhteystiedot. Ilmoittautuminen päättyy, kun 16 joukkueen kiintiö on täynnä tai viimeistään torstaina 31.1.2019. Turnauksen osallistumismaksu on 10 euroa joukkueelta.
Turnauspäivä aloitetaan kello 11.00 alkaen Educariumin hiekkakentällä ja päätetään alkusarjan sekä jatkopelien jälkeen, kun mestari on selvillä. Finaalin jälkeen siirrymme palkintojenjakotilaisuuteen, jatkoille ja saunaan.
SKO Openin oman kiertopalkinnon lisäksi ainakin turnauksen voittajalle on luvassa myös paikka vuoden 2020 Akateemisen MM-kyykän Pro-sarjaan. Turnauksen mestarijoukkue tulee siis olemaan yksi MM-kisojen rautaisista Pro-joukkueista, joita muut kisoihin kelpuutetut joukkueet pääsevät Hervannan kentillä haastamaan.

On Saturday the 2nd of February 2019 The Savo-Karelian Nation (SKO) organises a one day SKO Open 2019 kyykkä tournament. The size of the team is to be from four to eight players, four of which must be included in the playing roster in every game. The event begins at 11.00 at the field behind the Educarium building and the tournament followed by the award ceremony and the afterparty with sauna. Registration fee is 10 € per team and it will be collected in cash at the field before the first games.

Teams are to sign up by filling the attached form where you are required to provide us with the name of the team, the name and the email address of the team’s captain and of at least three other players. Information concerning the rest of the players is welcome but can also be supplemented later on before the tournament. Registration will close after the number of teams reaches 16 or on Thursday the 31th of January at the latest. Registration may also be cancelled by then, but after the date, the registration is binding.
The champion of the SKO Open 2019 tournament, and possibly the runner-up, will be invited to participate in the Pro Series of the Academic Kyykkä World Championships 2020 in Tampere.
